NAME: PRASIO - IGT TOSCANA ROSSO

TYPES OF GRAPES: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% MERLOT
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: 100 M. S.L.M.
SOIL TYPE: CLAY, SAND, WITH AN IMPORTANCE PRESENCE OF MINERALS.

GROWING METHOD: Guyot and cordon, 9,000 plants per hectare.

METHOD OF PRODUCTION: manual harvesting of grapes, maceration at controlled temperature for about 15 days in vitrified cement vats, where the resulting liquid is left for 18 months to mature. After the natural clarifying changes it is then aged in the bottle for at least 18 months.

ALCOHOL AVERAGE: 14%

Wine Characteristic: Deep ruby red colour, evokes blackberry jam, moss, herbs and licorice, in a balanced body mass with fine tannins. Tasty, full, soft, long finish with a balsamic and mineral return.
TEMPERATURE OF SERVICE: 18/20 °
