 NAME: SPATO - IGT TOSCANA ROSSO

TYPE OF GRAPE: Sangiovese.
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION: 200 M. S.L.M.
SOIL TYPE: CLAY, SAND, STONE

GROWING METHOD: Guyot and cordon, 7,000 plants per hectare.

METHOD OF PRODUCTION: manual harvesting of grapes, maceration at controlled temperature for about 15 days, aged for 12 months in 2nd step French oak barriques , with natural clarification and refining in bottles for at least 12 months.

ALCOHOL AVERAGE: 14%

WINE CHARACTERISTICS: The ruby red colour, raspberries and blueberries, cherries, are imposed on the nose, perfect to satisfy the palate, with a nice dynamic hint of freshness, tannins nicely ordered in a slim but not trivial body, it closes with a touch of mineral and good persistency
